Just bought a 2N that runs fine. However, I've noticed that the pressure gauge reads erratically. It does not drop to zero when you shut the engine off; it stays at about 10 psi. When you start the engine, the pressure will rise to approx. 15psi. I'm wondering if I have a bad gauge or should I be worried about a bad oil pump? If I've read the service manual right, the gauge should read between 15-30 psi with the engine running. Is this correct? Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Ron

Just a follow up question do you have to bleed the line when you install a new pressure guage?
