This 8n dies at high load or speed i have installed new points condenser,cap,coil ,rotor ,exaust also rebuilt carb and even put another carb on it same thing idles and runs fine until 3/4 throttle when it goes into a lean fit and dies also gas flows to carb good and there is no rust in tank. I was wondering if a internal leak between intake gasket might cause this it has no vacume leaks on the outside of the gasket RSP

Roger..... ..About 2 yrs ago, John tOTG, (one of the founding N-Board members) reported a simular situation. He found a burned thru hole inside the castiron manifold..... ...Dell
