Here in Upstate NY, Syracuse Area, we had a bit of sleet and a few flakes of snow.

Hard to believe it's that time of year already.

Glad I got this years wood in and have a good start on next years wood.

Time to put on the back blade!...almost.

Sal

Hi Sal,

Same nasty stuff here in Cicero. I bought new chains and back blade this year. Right now I am welding up mounting hardware to put a 7 1/2' snow blade on the front of my Ford. Let it snow!

We had one in mid September, about 3 inches. Of course, it was 80 degrees a couple days later.

The joys of Colorado.

I put the blade on today and pulled it into the shop for some adjusting. As you all know, one thing leads to another and the fenders came off. I have been planning to strip and paint for so long and today it began. The last two winters we have not had any snow and the N was in pieces. This year we are ready for anything.

We just had our second snow. None left on the ground here at home, but plenty deep on the face of the Big Horn mountains seven miles away! That will stay til spring. If I wasnt so picky I could have been done with my 2N a long time ago. I still have plans to paint it this fall. (?)
Then I can look for a back blade of my own. Hate the thought of another winter without my N being finished!
