Please excuse my ignorance, but what do the letters OT at the front end of a subject mean in these postings?

Al

Since this is supposed to be a tractor discussion board, any post about things other than tractors usually get flagged "OT" to let others know there's nothing to read in that post about tractors. Some are touchier than others about posting OT items....some feel like it's a waste of forum space. I don't mind it myself; I've learned a lot about a lot of different topics just by hanging out here.

Albert,
The only dumb question is the one you did not ask. Especially if it can keep you and your 'N' out of trouble.
Good Luck

Tom,

Wish I had an N, for sure. Should have worked harder to talk my dad into one when the 8-N first came out, but $1,318 was a lot of hogs back in '48.

Of course, a Farmall Cub was only $545 FOB Chicago, but I guess the extra $773 was well worth it for the Ford, eh?
