I know there are several old/ rare, or just neat accessories for the 8N. What are some of them? I mean stuff like the Sherman transmissions, and Dowden foot feeds and such.

Another great post, Ed. Off the subject, but where the heck did Llamas go. Haven't heard from him in a long time.

Thanks! Llamas is around. He posted responses to a couple of questions this week. They've just scrolled back due to the volume of traffic in this forum.

Take care..... ..Ed

Hi. It's not out of any book. It's an actual accessories ad brochure that I acquired for my library of N memorabilia.

Take care..... ..Ed

Don't think I've seen anyone point you to the archives for this forum. If you haven't found them for yourself, look at the top of this page for the "search" box or click on "Archives" and do a "keyword" search for the topic you are interested in. Or browse by author, etc.

There's a world of info in there...look up the topics you've been asking about so far and see what you find. It's pretty mind-boggling. Enjoy.

Well, out of sheer boredom, I've read through to page 15 of the archives.

You know, you'll learn more, faster, by brousing the N-Resources on the web. Here's a great place to start..... ...respectfully, Dell

Dell- I have seen Smith's site, and have tried to access www.n-series.com, but it doesnt seem to be working. If you would like me to stop posting so many questions, could you post a link to some websites related to 8N's? Or if you're feeling especially generous, drive a 16 foot trailer to west tennessee so I can haul my N home and figure things out for myself.

Just Kidding. Those who don't like reading your questions, should not read them. I think that references to the archives are an attempt to help, not get rid of you. Ed..you have an amazing amount of original N literature. I have been meaning to tell you how much I enjoy your postings. Thanks.

Wish I could get a few days off work. I would be glad to do it for you, but I am stuck here for a while. I have a lot of relatives in Memphis. I lived there when I was younger. I have a good truck (2000 F350 4X4)and we could probably borrow a trailer somewhere. I hope you get it home sooner, but if a few weeks from now, you still have the same problem, send me an email and I will see if I can come. Good Luck with it.
