If the axle nut doesn't stay tight, then the hub and axle need replacing. You must replace them together. If you only replace one or the other, you will have the problem again.

Had the same problem on my left side. If your axle and hub assembly is worn it won't go together tight enough to stop leaking. I replaced my axle (also had stripped threads & lock nut didn't help) and hub and now it doesn't leak. I had to replace both sides on mine and the right side had a good axle and hub so it didn't leak again like the left side. Let us know what you replaced besides the seals so we can help you. Do your axle and hub look worn? Need more information.
