"Air cleaner? What air cleaner? 'Aint nothin been there since I got it." These were the words that greeted me when I inquired about the missing air cleaner on my 8N. After looking around, it seems that I may just have to stick with 12 volt for a while, because every electrical part on the tractor has been converted, and un-doing it would take money I dont have...However, on the bright side, it comes home tommorrow, if everything goes well. My dad is home with a truck, and a trailer has been arranged. Now, a warning to everyone in West Tennessee. Do not deal with Golden Circle Implement in Lexington. Two weeks ago I called, and they ordered me my operators manual, telling me it would only cost 18.85, and saying it should be there within a week. Well, yesterday I called them, because it hadnt come. Sure, shipping delay, I understand. Ok, no problem. Well, today I went out on a leaf- raking job. When I came home, my mom had the manual. They called right after I had left, so she was nice enough to go pick it up for me. I asked her how much it was, and she said $25.00. I was like, "what?" They told me 18! Oh well, that's my gripe.
