We did, and they were pretty cool. I couldnt see that many because of a light haze, but it was fun...and cold...

I caught the show over the Chesapeake. Stayed up untill 2 looking for earthgrazers. Grabbed a couple of hour's sleep and got up at 4:45 and watched the amazing display. Clear skys with many many doubles and seldom more that 3 seconds between meteors. Just after dawn, the seatrout started to bite and I enjoyed some wonderful fishing before going home and taking an extended nap. Life is good.

I got up at 4AM and saw a lot of them. I then woke my wife and 6 year old daughter and laid back it lawn chairs and had a great show for an hour. Even with the city lights we saw a great meteor shower.

In Kelowna BC it was absolutely clear with the barometer rising and our view to the south from the bedroom window does not have any lights. My wife was able to watch them from the bed. I went outside to porch ( -10c ) and looked more to the East and North East, it was really neat. MC Herb 9N

It was so foggy last night I couldn't see 20 feet let alone the sky. Oh well, maybe I'll catch the next 100 year show.

John's right, here in Central Michigan we were so fogged in, I'd have mised them if they landed in my back yard. Wife went in to work at 6:30 this AM, and almost ran off the road on a curve she knows like the back of her hand. Son and I didn't bother going deer hunting. What a disappointment - only 35 years till the next display of that magnitude!

Yea, I did, out in the country with no lights, at least one or two every second, or so it seemed, glad I got up to watch, will probally not see anything like that again.

We too got up at 4:30 and saw quite a bit even though as in Michigan it was very foggy in southern Indiana. but still saw enough to make it worth while.
