I bought a Gear Vendor for my 1985 Ford Duley. If you decide to install one on your truck, you will love it.

Are you referring to the 2 speed transmission that goes behind the regular gearbox. I have been considering one myself as I have a 7400lb boat to haul over the Cascade Mountains and that will put my 3/4 ton 78 Chev 350 4 speed in second gear for a long time. I was hoping to be able to do this in 3rd gear low range with the 2 speed unit. I would like info on this.
