installing my engine tonite and not sure which way disk faces. the fo4 manual not real clear and nothing in archives. dont want to have to split it again by installing wrong way. thanks

When I put in my new one, it would only go in one way, like the poster said above, you'll see which way it's meant to go.

The side with the most spring sticking out goes to the pressure plate. Try it before installing and you will see why. Just hold it up to the flywheel.

thanks dave, when i went out to do the job i saw what you were talking about. got engine installed and all bolted up. had to pull the input shaft out of the sherman to line up the disk as i had a sorry clutch alignment tool. thanks again
