When i was giving my tractor a ignition tuneup the other day (new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, and condensor), i didn't think to note where the plug wires go before i took them off. What is the firing order of a '52 8N? Which cylinder do the numbers start on (#1,2,3,4 cylinders), and which way does the rotor turn, and which terminal on the cap is number 1? Sorry for all of the questions, im still a novice :).

Thanks for the help! I should get it running tomorrow. When looking at the distributor, you mean standing at the front of the tractor, and looking towards the seat, or standing on the side of the tractor, and looking directly at the cap?

I think we are talking about a side dist. on a 52. Number one on the cap shoud face the coil and go C/CW 243 after that looking from the side of the motor. Dave.
