Well I've been delayed readin' my e-mails for a few days, as Ive been stuck on the night shift for a week. Back to the dirt scoop. I can't buy one in Aridzona, nobody has them. They tell me they can order them in and the final price is in the high fives. Too much money for me. Closest KK dealer is somewhere in California, also they won't return email. I've seen new ones advertised for as little as $157, so 5 or 6 hundred is out for me. Also looked in to gettin' CAD plans but 50 or 60 for plans plus the price of steel puts me back in the range of a new one. So I am still tryin' to figure if I should build one or buy one. Checked the archives but was unable to find measurements or a drawing of the latch.

I bought one from Northern tools about a year and a half ago. Used it a lot. Works great. They had two sizes. I got the larger one.

When I checked shipping from Northern Tool to AZ, the shipping would have been on the order of $170

I just came back to Colorado from Phoenix area and traveling up hyway 17 between Glendale and Camp Verde I saw an implement dealer on the right side of the road that had dirt scoops. I am sorry I can't remember the exact location and name but I am sure you can find them in AZ. I also beleive there is a implement dealer in LasCruses NM that has some to.

Well Andy, my local 'tractor guy' has several KK dirt scoops, in the 100- 200 range. If you want, I could get you his phone number, and he would probably ship you one.
