Building a dozer blade for 8N

Well, my father and I have decided to acquire some type of blade for my 8N, for light road work and clearing un-level wooded areas. Anyway, I think I have a decent design for a front mount blade, using the 3 point hitch 'backwards' to lift and lower it. Ok. Take 2 pieces of I beam, long enough to go from the back of the 3 point arms to the front of the tractor. Weld/ bolt/ attach a dozer stlye blade to the front. Now, put a pivot point under the tractor somewhere. I was thinking about fabricating a plate with arms on it that would mount to the 4 bolts where a swinging brawbar would attach. Drill a hole in each I beam and put that hole on each arm. Drill another hole in it and drop in a cotter/ linch pin to keep the I beams from sliding off. Now, with the front dozer blade setting on the ground, raise the hydraulics until the hole on the ball joints are even with the center of the I beam. Drill a hole large enough for a Category 1 top- link pin, and put a 3 point 11 hole drawbar through the I beam and 3 point ball joints. Now, you have down pressure on the blade, because when you 'lift' the hydraulic arms, you're raising the rear of the I beam, which lowers the blade end. To raise the front of the blade, you put a 'drawbar lock' on the drawbar, and put a small platform on it. Attach sufficient weight to this platform, so when you lower the rear arms, they provide pressure to raise the blade, since 8N's have no downward pressure on the hydraulic system.

Does anyone think this will work? What are some things I've missed?

Thanks,

I'm currently building a snow plow that will lift off of the 3 pt hitch. Only I installed a hyd cylinder between the lifting arms and the top link.
That way when you lift the 3 pt it will collapse the cylinder and push hydraulic fluid to another cylinder on the front of the tractor which raises the blade.
I'm getting close to finishing it and will let you know how well it works soon.
