rigged up a stand for the gas tank (sheetmetal not back from body shop yet, sore subject), poured oil in the filter canister and a teaspoon in each cylinder and let it sit overnite. next day cranked with ignition off and got oil press after about 15 sec of cranking. turned on ignition and whammo she roared to life and purrs like a kitty. have run engine so far about 1 1/2 hrs. i want to say thanks to all on this board for the help especially dell. she looks purty and i can hardly wait to put the sheetmetal back on and use it. i'll probably cry the first time it gets scratched.

It's a great feeling, isn't it? Especially when you have done it yourself. Make sure you post some photos too!
