I am experiencing a heavy trans or differential leak that puddles in the garage. It appears to be coming from just above the tailpipe area. How can this be repaired? Never had this before.

hi phil, is it coming from the lift pin bracket? if it is, the gasket needs replaced. have to pull the axle housing on that side as the lift pin has a castellated nut on the inside. not too hard just heavy work.

I had a leak that gradually got worse in the area I envision yours is near. I kept cardboard under the tractor to keep the floor clean. When I replaced my muffler, I found that the nut holding tailpipe clamp was loose. After I tightened it up my leak stopped. Hope your's is a simple as mine was.
