Went to pick up a Danuser 3 pt. blade and this retired machinery dealer also had a sweet little 2-12 Ford plow. This one has the truss frame with breakaway pins. Most of the red paint is gone except on the back of the red Ford moldboards (you can see the trademark and model of the boards). It is all original except, coverboards are blue with very clear Ford script, and it has rusty blue handle for adjusting the lower 2 points of the linkage. It's scoured and greased. Tailwheel has the scraper. Landslides are not worn. All of these truss-frame plows had the throw-away (Ford called them razor-blade style) lays or shears. Yep, I paid a little premium, but it is in the garage here at home. It's like one we had 43 years ago and I'm delighted to have it. I'll take it to the Plow Day my 2-cylinder Club has and take to a few shows. Call if you need your garden plowed! Mike-Iowa
