But I did get Def Lepard's "Best Of" CD and it's great. Now, I need to install a sound system on the tractor to have the best of both worlds...Def Lepard and and driving the 40 9N.

will that be a 6v sound system or 12? Perhaps this is the "right reason" Dell is always referring to when he speaks of converting to a 12 v?

Def Leppard is good. I saw them in concert too. Probably 1983? Pyromania tour.
I got $50 towards 2N paint! Now, if I could just talk Don into selling me the paint and primer for $50!!
Happy new year.

...are my favorites. I've seen Def Leppard in concert years ago. Great laser light show and was amazed at the "one armed drummer" Rick Allen. Pyromania was my favorite CD.

Rock of ages!

9N'er - Def Lep, huh? For those of us who "came of age" in the late 70's and early 80's, Def Leppard, et al, provided the soundtrack for all manner of unspeakable shenanigans! That was the era of "heavy metal", and old tractors are REALLY heavy metal, so I suppose you can say it is tractor related by vague association. :-)

I got an old tractor calendar for Christmas. It is published by "browntrout.com" and the lone Ford is a 1953 NAA which is mis-identified as a "1953 Ford Jubilee 8NN". It isn't a very nice example of the proud Jube, either!

Perhaps the N board should publish our own Ford Tractor Calendar, but instead of one tractor per month we could picture several examples to include as many board folk's tractors as possible.

Who knows, we might even include a red/gray 9N, an El Camino and a 500lb box of Cornflakes, With the blessing of the Grand Poobah!

I got a Franklin Mint Jubilee...well ok, I bought it for myself a month ago and the wife confiscated it, wrapped it, and put it under the tree.

I also got a "Tribute to Bob Wills" CD by Asleep at the Wheel. Pretty enjoyable!

N'er, sorry to hear you didn't score for the tractor this year. Maybe next.
How did the Mrs do this year? We kept your family in our prayers during this "difficult" season for her.
Happy New Year

Make sure yer sound system has them big sub-woofers. The kind that rattle the neighbors windows when ya drive by. That'll have the youngsters shaking their heads.
