Are the short chains on the lower lift arms the only stop to the lift? The ones on my 2N seem to be quite snug. I have recently changed the lift rocker & the control spring is lose when lifted, I'm thinking this isn't right but don't recall how lose or tight it was before. Just seems to come up with quite a jerk at the top of lift. Any thoughts on this will be app. Play safe.

Your sway chains need to be fastened to the bracket on each side of the pto correctly. The hole needs to be above center on each side. the chains should have 7 links plus the clevis'.

Good call, I had changed the housing awhile back & just hooked up the chains. Now that I look at it it makes sense. To cold to change it tonight I'll do it tomorrow. Thank you.

Rusty..... ..you're upper lift arms should have an internal hard stop....ie....end of hydraulic piston extention. The lower arm chains are for side to side sway control. But I always use my "anti-sway" bars from my fender mounts to the lower lift balls when I need stability. My chains are "slightly loose" when fully lifted. Check that you have your chains and eyelets mounted correctly..... .Dell
