I'm not a frequent contributor to this board but enjoy the camaraderie and technical help that is available here. Great fun!
I use my 8N for working the family hobbyfarm on a weekend basis and have accumulated a number of implements to help with the work. I have not been able to find much info on these devices. Lots of books, websites etc. on the tractor, virtually none on the tools that make it useful. Maybe there's a idea for a chapter or two in a book or something here. I guess that now that 2002 has arrived the WHOLE N series is at least 50 years old. Hope I'm around to see the 100th birthdays of these fine old things.

There is at least one book on implements for the Ford N-series... FORD TRACTOR IMPLEMENTS written by Chester Peterson Jr. & Rod Beemer and published by MBI Publishing Co. This book has a lot of details on the many plows designed for the Ford/Ferg 3-pt. It also shows pic of and describes many of other implements available for the Ford N.

its been said that there were over 400 3-point implements developed for the N-Tractor in its hayday. Thats kinda staggerin'. And to think, as soon as all them thar' patents that ol'Fergie had expired, everybody jumped onnna the 3-point bandwagon. Mustta been agood thang.

Check the "implement manual archives" at www.n-news.com, they probably gotta copy fer ya of whatever ya lookin' fer..... ..Dell
