Is it too early to ask about tractor shows/swap meets for 2002? I never could make it to any last year, hope to get to SOMETHING this year... Anybody got any info for Michigan/Ohio/Indiana areas?

Check the 2001 show guide under "Community" in the left margin.

Most big shows are on the same weekend every year.

There are so many shows in this three state area that it hurts that I can't go to all of them. If you had a last year schedule you could locate many near to you, only the dates would be wrong.
Buy the Steam and Gas Show Directory at:
Stemgas Publishing Co. P.O. Box 328, Lancaster, PA 17608-0328 or by phone 717-392-0733. They are $10 each. I can't survive without it.
The 2001 directory lists 79 events in Indiana, 69 events in Michigan and 109 events in Ohio.
Where are you located and how far do you want to drive?
ps I belong to the Southeast Michigan Antique Tractor and Engine Assoc. Our annual show is held at Nike Park in Monroe Co. (just above Toledo) It will be July 18, 19, 20 this year.
We(I)like our Ford trctors.

Barnstormer, thanks for the info. I'm near Pinckney, west of Brighton. Sounds like I better schedule a trip to your show in July. How do I join your group?

Hi Paul.
We meet on the first Sunday of each month in Ida at the Prince of Peace Lutheran church on Lewis Avenue, just south of M50, at 7:00pm. Sometimes we have it at member homes, usually in nicer weather. Each month, a member sponsors the meeting by providing snacks, soft drinks and coffee.
Membership is $10 per year paid at our show. Send me an e-mail: smateavp@msn,com and I'll get more information for you. We always welcome new members and tell everyone, you don't have to own a tractor or an engine to be a member, just have a mutual interest.
