More power to the guy if he's got the money to buy, maintain, and show the tractors. It would be nice to be able to see them all, and I could spend awhile, maybe two whiles, checking them out. But therein lies my point. How often does he get them out? There was some mention of $100 for gas alone for each time they bring them out. Once a month? Once a summer? Does he wipe them down every week, run them up, or are they just collected, and shown now and then? Fine, he can afford it, but they are meant to get dirty. There is a finite number of N's around. I found one, bought it, and I use it. Glad it isn't still sitting in the field rusting to death. Don't hide your lamp under a basket. I don't want him to give them away to the "N"eedy. I wouldn't give mine away either, but how many do you "need"? It has been awhile since I read about the collector that is linked on Tyler's site. As I remember the collector wasn't quite sure how many he had. I think that might be a few too many. Yes, I would consider that a hoard. When he dies, there will probably be a big auction, and the little tractors can again do what they like to do, after making his heirs rich. But if it gives him enjoyment, go for it. Bob
