I've been seaching the achives and this web page (http://scribers.midwest.net/briabeck/conversion) keeps getting rave reviews. I can't get in anymore as the link looks to be about 2 years old. Anyone have an updated like or a copy of this diagram ?

Instead of using the marker lamp use a diode. I bought a diode pack from a local tractor repair shop for $8.50. It has the male and female plugs and plugs right into the alternator. The old plug goes into the other end. Ace part #S3300. Makes a neater job.

Also, here is a wiring diagram for 12 volt conversion for side mount from NSeries.com:

Thanks, looks great, but I have a front mounted 12 volt coil. What canges do I need to make to this diagram for that coil?

I would use the first diagram for a front mount distributor. With a 12 volt coil, you will still need a resistor to drop the voltage. I'm not sure what the resistance should be, but the voltage at the coil with the points closed should be about 7 volts (I think). Claus or Dell are better resources when it comes to the resistors.
