NAA missing on a slope

Saturday was finally a nice enough day to get the tractor out and do a little mowing. After about half an hour of mowing the side hill - 20 degree slope - the engine started missing when the manifold side was downslope. Going straight up and down, manifold upslope, or on the level it won't miss.

The sediment bowl is clean. The fuel line runs a good stream. The carb filter is clean. All of the electrical connections are tight. There aren't any bare spots in the insulation.

It has to be something shifting, but I can't find it. Any ideas?

Check the float level adjustment.

Mike is right. Top it off with gas.

Could be that the tank is low on fuel some. Since the fuel bowl and outlet are on the opposite side of the tractor from the carb, it is possible that when the carb is on the downhill side, the fuel sloshes some and maybe, just maybe, the fuel flow become intermittent. Try it with a full tank. If that ain't it, carb might have some trash in it that gets in the way of the flow when on that tilt.
