Come see me!
We have a lot full of " must haves"
How about over 20 new and several used tractors on the lot along with lotsa "goodies" to go along with your tractor.
Hope to see you soon.

Hey guys, thanks for the replys and all the info.
I was joking about the pickup, my girlfriedn (the one that thinks my tractors are SEXY) would have a seziure if she saw that!!!

I realize Plano is no longer farm country. My class is up just west (~1 mile) of EDS. It is Kodak and is in a fast growing area. I will certianly be checking out that boneyard. And I am driving (from TN) so I could load some smaller parts if I found things I need(ok,want!). Johnny, I might take you up on cruzin' for N's.
I will be there over the weekend of 2/2-3.
I'll send you an email with contact info. bd

I live in Plano and can tell you of several places to check out. Paysinger's boneyard is east about 8 miles of McKinney on 380 that may have some N stuff. No good blocks 'cause I've been looking there for 2 years waiting for one. The Collin County Farm Museum 7117 County Road 166 McKinney, TX (972) 548-4793 has some old iron and many displays of steam traction tractors. The Heritage Farmstead of Plano is close by on 15th street. They have a good collection of 1920 farm buildings/sheds and several unrestored tractors- one Fordson. Check out The Big Easy restaurant for some Cajun food, or the Tortilla Factory for some 'hole-in-the-wall' Tex-Mex food.

Great looking tractor. A bit amazed at the concept of a 9N in modern day Plano (excluding the museums). Doesn't seem too long ago they were a fairly regular sight. I don't know if I am familar with Paysingers. Is that the place about 2-3 miles east of Hwy 5, or is there another boneyard closer to Princeton. If it is the one I am thinking about, I was there Monday looking for a scoop. Seemed to be reasonably priced on what he had. Any thoughts on his pricing? There are 2 other N places a bit further down 380. Daniels on the right (south side), small place with a 3x3 sign with a 8N on it (has a working shop), and another place (name unknown), to the north a bit past Daniels. I know of a couple places in Denton where you might find a block. Dentex or Bannon Tractor parts. Is the N still at your house, or have you moved it. If you ever want someone to ride along while looking for N stuff, let me know. Good restaurant suggestions.

Rasputen,

Plano is a pretty high flaluten place, not many old tractors. Over the last 15 years, Plano has changed from a sleepy farm town on the brink of becoming a full fledged suberb; to a high density, high income, zero lot line community where those guys who spend $100M for a 50' lot live. However, 7-8 miles up the road is McKinney, where I live, and there is a good bit of old tractors, especially east of town on 380. If you will be here through the weekends, I would be happy to take you out there (that's really an excuse to tell the wife why I need to spend half a day looking at rust buckets). I don't spend too much time picking up "ers", got one at home. But showing a fellow N-er around would be a good excuse to go drink a few beers.
