I just bought a Ford 2N, but the hydraulic lift either goes all the way up or all the way down. I've read that there is a lever to control the "mode" -- "Draft mode/control mode", but all I seem to have is the touch control lever. Where is the mode select lever??

The mode select lever is on an 8N, a later model. It was not fitted to your 2N.

HOWSOMEVER, you have come to the right place. Because one of the regulars here, Zane Sherman, has just designed, and is now marketing, an add-on kit which adds position control to 2Ns like yours - and mine. Go to www.zanethang.com for details. For testimonials as to how well it works, just post a message here with the header "Does the Zane Thang really work?"

Just got done moving some gravel and dirt with the back scoop on my 9N. Thought it was pretty neat BZT-Before Zane Thang. Now it's a whiz. Mr. Sherman definitely has a winner. You won't be sorry if you get one.
