Remote hydraulics on Jubilee

I have a 1953 NAA Golden Jubilee, and have recently purchased a Dearborn Loader(single acting cylinders on lift arms & a trip bucket) for it. I am wanting to use the tractor's hydraulics to power this unit, along with a double acting remote for on-land implements. It appears I will be able to obtain pressure from the "jack plug" on top of the hydraulic lift cover, but need to know if this is correct. Also, where is the return oil usually plumbed back into the system, and do I need a Open Center or Closed Center remote control valve?
Your help would be appreciated.

I believe you have two choices. There is a block about 1" thick that yu can bolt in place between the cover and the Trans housing. It provides hyd. out and a place for the return line. You then run hoses to the valves you want usually on the loader frame.
The is also the double vlave units that replace the cover. These have two levers for two sets of hyd outputs. They can be set up with detents if desired. Then just run hoses to where you want them. Bought a used one rebuilt and hoses for about $400 a few monts ago. One valve controls the front snow plow and the other provides hyd to the rear. I want to put on a hyd. cylinder in place of the top link to make the rear scoop more adjustable.

Hope this helps.

Dick

I was hoping you would get answers to your questions, since I was wondering about the exact same things myself.
