WHY DO IT?

Maybe I've just been lucky, but haven't had any charging or starting problems with 6V, despite what I'd consider mild abuse (lots of starting, run for just a minute or two then shutdown).

So I'd like to know what is the advantage of changing over to 12V...other than 'everyone else is doing it'? It costs money and time to convert, and I don't see any advantage. What am I missing?

Tom
