I have a 2N that stalls if I run it for about 45 minutes either at very low rpm or if I'm working it (plowing). If I leave it for a while, I can start back up. I've replaced the coil and I tried leaving the gas cap loose in case it's a vapor lock but it still does it. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a classic example of the ignition getting overheated. Lots of warnings in past messages about the ignition switch itself being the problem. In other applications old coils are known to do this as well. Next time it does this, check for spark.

Vapor lock is where the gasoline in the fuel line gets so hot it boils. Removing the gas cap will not help this phenomina. Removing the gas cap is a bandaid fix for lack of tank venting. Lack of tank venting causes a vacuum to build up in the gas tank as fuel is consumed, eventually preventing gasoline from flowing out the tank. Vapor lock is not a noted problem with the N tractor.
