Is there any way to set the pump valves, intake & exhaust hydraulic valves on the pump when it is removed from the housing?? Mine is out and I hate to put it back without checking them. I replaced the relief valve. The lift would not hold in the up position when the motor was off. Thanks!
P.S. These things are a real hoot to work on!

Tom,
Do you and me a favor. Cut about 10" off the bottom of the diagonals that run back from the A frame, and replace that 10" with 3/8" chain. Then put your tophitch back on. This will give you the flex you need but won't make it dangerous. I have no desire to read about you and Molly having a bad bushog accident. I think Dell would agree. That toplink is there to keep the hog's tail wheel from hitting you on the head and hurting you severely...I have an old bushog that I made this modification on...works like a charm and sorta brings the older hogs up to date.

I have been told that the 3 pt will never stay up. If it slowly bleeds off that was normal I don't agree with it but that what I've been told it is the type of tractor they are. I replaced the lift piston, rings, relief valve and it still does not stay up when it is shut off or when you push the clutch in. Good Luck

Nope, the worms would eventually eat through the inner tubes!

P.S. Dell, you're a man after my own heart! Tanguerey & Tonic in hot weather, Wild Turkey 101 in cold weather. Don't get no better than that!
