What is the diffrence between an 8n, 9n, and a 2N ?

The year the were made. I think it goes 9n,1938:
2n,1942: 8n, 1948: Each model change braught some advances tranny and hydro. Plus I believe more horse power?? Transmission startred out three speed with the 9n and ended up four speed with 8n.
The 8n also has draft control for plowing. Just keep check back. These guys know alot abou these great little tractors. They will let you know more.

9n is same as 2n exept during war the n came without rubber tires and gen.
