find a guy that does vinyl lettering on big rig trucks. He can scan the logo and cut out the letters for you for usually $20.00 or so. In this case, you would throw away the letters, and keep the leftovers. They even have a name for the stuff, the brand a buddy uses is gerber, (sign stuff, not baby food) and the product is called gerbermask. You never know when you'll try to rattlecan flames down the side of your 1954 ford tudor, and find out it only takes 20 minutes. An experiment that lasted about four years, and the better you put it on, the better your results.

Heres what I did. Went to the office supply store and bought a pack of those 8-1/2" x 11" magnet sheets you can run through you printer, and traced the logo on to them and cut out with a razor knife. The sheets flex enough to fit the fenders and you can reuse them. They store nicely stuck to the beer frig in the shop, which has gotten a few FORD logos painted it now too. I have also cut out shapes of different size bolt heads, for touching up things the the wheel bolts ect.

Good luck with those. I tried them and they wouldn't stick well at all. I had overspray all around the letters when it was finished. Had to go back and touch up gray with a very fine pointed paint brush. Although after the touch-ups with the paint brush the letters looked good. Still probably easier than trying to hand paint them.

I used the painting masks last weekend. I also had trouble with them not sticking well. The mask needs to be more flexible. Still, they were better than nothing at all.
