Got an air compressor? Buy or a borrow an air hammer (muffler gun) and use a flat set (not a chisel). With the axle supported, hammer around the inside next to the hub. Spray penetrant around the parting surfaces. The vibration is hard for the rust to resist, it should give up & come off. Good Luck.

I had this problem with a rear wheel, put a hydraulic jack on it and snugged it up with some pressure (not enought to bend anything). Gave a couple of good hits with a 3# hammer and it popped right off.

R.M.inAL, I'm no "pro" but seems I've read here that one way is to loosen the lugs "slightly" ,maybe one and a half turns and then do a sharp turn with the N and that should do it.Sounds reasonable to me ! Your call tho !

I got a front wheel loose from my 3000 this way but it took about 10 minutes of doing figure 8's in the driveway. Be careful the loose lug nuts don't drop off. They can be hard to find in the gravel.
