Front end alignment

I have taken all the adjustment out of my tie rods, but still the front wheels splay out. I suspect that as a result of 57 years of running and hitting things, the spindles are bent. Is there any way short of replacing the spindles or cutting an inch out of each tie rod to bring the front wheels back into reasonable alignment?

P.S. I have installed Zane's Thang and am an enthusiastic supporter. It does everything everyone says it does and then some. Yesterday I brush hogged 10 acres and the shredder stayed right where I put it. I hooked a chain to the top link instead of the rod to keep the deck more level over undulating terrain but discovered that I really don't need a top link when shredding.

This may sound crazy to some, but when I bought the 8N I am using now, I couldn't keep the front end lined up. Found out that the key that keeps the spindal arm from turning on the spindal had been sheared off and was allowing the spindal to turn in the spindal arm. You may want to check that out???? Good luck!!

The Zane Thang seems to be a hit with those that use it. I may just get one although I may not need it. In fact, I may hang it over my mantel and replace my moose head, stuffed lynx head, bear paw, and 6 foot long sailfish with it.

Just read the archived article in Yesterday's Tractors about brush hogging with the strong caveat never to disconnet the top link because the shredder can flip around and crush the operator. Warning understood and will be heeded.
