No,no easy fix here. But not that big deal.
Pull left axel houseing, remove diff., & check & make sure the studs are tight. If these are lose or wore out it'll leak with new gaskets, had to make mine. The studs are available. I used a impact wrench to get them tight. Check for cracks in housing, & where the rear pinion bearing rides. I found 4 cracks in my houseing. cost me a diff. housing. Good Luck. Rusty 2N

I assume you mean the pins that hold the drawbar arms on. Ain't no "easy" cure. You need to pull the trumpet (axle housing) to get in there. If you pull the left one, you can pull the differential and do both at one time, otherwise pull each one if you don't want to pull the diffy.

On the 9N and I think 2N these are straight pins and hard to come by. Both the pin and the other nut are held on by castle nuts and cotter keys on the inside. You need to make a gasket and use permatex on the plate before you tighten these up.

Really not as awsome as job as you may think. Two people maybe 4 or 5 hours. Just bull work and messy. Pretty straight forward.

In this pic of my 8n you can see the nut that holds the pin,it's just below the right axle shaft. Once the left axle houseing is removed, the differental slips out. It would be best to do this job on a nice Concrete floor, if you have to do it on lets say Pea Gravel ,Use a piece of 3/4" plywood, it will make your life much easier!

later,dave

Wear some heavy coveralls when using the plywood. You don't want slivers in your butt.
