Ok here goes..... 41 9N..... new plugs, new points, condenser, distributer cap. Rebuilt carb, 12V conversion with a 6V coil & resistor. Apparantly in time, getting spark, getting fuel although possibly too much. Runs out breather tube when you open the gas valve. Won't start on the hand crank, starter, or when pulled. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! !!!!!
Done all that I know to do, need all the help I can get. Thanx in advance.

Rick

Gas running out the breather tube when you turn on the valve is not normal. You said the carb had been rebuilt, looks like a good place to start. You might pull the plugs and see if they are wet, this would confirm diagnosis.

Best Regards!!!!!

Even though the Carb was rebuilt their could be something in the Float valve needle. Also check the mixture screw, normal to start is 1 1/2 turns out from bottom.
Remember, these tractors are mighty simple. First check for Spark at each plug. If yes, then make sure you have gas to the Cylinders, like stated in the previous reply. If you have spark, and gas, then check to make sure you have compression. If it has been sitting for any length of time the rings could be rusted, thus not sucking. If no compression then it's rings or valves, as a general rule. Good luck.

Right-o! Stuck float=too much gas=no start. If the float isn't stuck, check the needle valve and seat and make sure the carb body is assembled properly and there are no cracks or air leaks anywhere in the carb.
