I have a substance that looks like oil or grease slowly seeping from a rear hub on the inside after some pretty good box blade work. Is this a seal gone bad? Where else could I be getting this from?

It sounds like a oil seal. How are your brakes when you step on the pedal of the side that is leaking? If it is slow to respond it is an oil seal. Although it may take awhile for it to soak up into your brake shoes.
