Bonnie 8N and I drove the 5 miles to my Mother's house and watched the kids swim.
I do love my 'Country Cadillac'...

My 1952 8N is spending the 4th in the garage.
I just got finished washing it and getting it ready for a parade and show July 8th.
As for the man that left his N out in the rain, I've heard about people like you!!! ha ha!!!
Have a good holiday, and take care of those old tractors.

...in the hot sun, wires and connectors dangling from it, and a lost owner sitting there...thinking, "will I ever get it to start again...? and how am I ever going to figure out electrical, timing, gap, reading a voltmeter, and making sense out of all of this. I'll admit it; for the first time in this project I'm feeling in-over-my-head. I think I'll marry a tractor mechanic in my next life. will keep y'all posted as I sort through this. 9N'er p.s. happy 4th.

As someone has said already 9n'er " keep the faith " It will happen, sooner or later. The pieces will come together, before you know it, you'll be in the drivers seat.Too bad we're not neighbors, I could park my old 8n next to yours, and Im sure we could figure out what the problem is. My old girl,(the 8n)is having a quiet 4th of july, in the shade of a texas umbrella tree. I havent really done anything with her since scraping the spring weeds a month or so ago. Nice thing is , when I need to, I'll go out there and the ol girl will fire right up and do whatever needs to be done. Happy 4th everyone! Tom

keeping the faith Tom...and thanks. (one of my greatest strengths (and weakenesses) is my inane talent for stubborness to see things through.) i need to take a step back from this and go back to it in a few days with a fresh mind.

I just finished mowing a couple acres with mine. It's now sitting out in the rain cooling off.

ABSOLUTLY UNACCEPTABLE! Don't you know, we don't leave these out in the rain. Now put your rain coat on and repent. ;)
