THE LIFT ON MY 8N DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE IT WORK IS TO LOSEN THE DRAFT GUIDE. TO LET THE LEVER GO ON THE OUT SIDE OF THE WORKING AREA. WE HAVE DONE PULL THE LIFT COMPONENTS DOWN AND CHECK THEM. EVERY THING LOOKS GREAT. IS THERE ANY KIND OF ADJUSTMENT THAT NEEDS TO MADE TO THE DRAFT CONTROL.

What you need is the jig and a procedure for repairing the linkage and adjusting the lift.

I have such a thing.

Email me if you want the particulars on this.
It is next to impossible to fix the adjustment and linkage on the 8N without a jig for a reference point. The end of the control rod has got to end up at the exact place when the adjustment procedure is completed or it just ain't gonna work.
