Zane,

I realized you're retired...but you should consider taking your repair show on the road! "Zane's Traveling N Clinic!" Or do some videos on repair (with all the legal disclaimers, of course)!

Appreciate your posts!

I have done the booklet (pamphlet) on the repair and adjustment of the 8N lift and fabricated the jig to do it with.

I have considered doing just what you are saying but to tell the truth I don't have time with all the neighbors bringing me all those blankety blank weed eaters to start etc. I am thinking about getting a trained weed eater attack dog to attack when he sees a weed eater.
I guess I should be saying "string trimmer" (means the same)
Almost thou persuadest me!

Give them a can of WD 40 of their very own and tell them you prefer to work on bigger brush cutters!

Thanks for all your great input to this board

He ain't retired, he's a professional good samaritan on the N board! Don't say anything to anyone but I hear Ted Turner wants to do a docu-drama on his life. Good Luck
