My 8n is overheating when it is under a load and running at 3/4 throttle or better. It has a brand new water pump and I have washed and blew out the radiator. Is this a sticky thermostat? Do I need to take the radiator out and have it cooked and cleaned? Any and all solutions appreciated. Thanks

Try flushhing out the block really well. Take off the water pump and blast your garden hose all around the water jackets. Also, remove the petcock valve on the block and make sure that the water can flow out. I flushed mine for several hours and removed a lot of rust and scale

Are you sure it's overheating and not just overflowing? Ns need fluid expansion room in the radiator and if you top off the radiator it will blow the excess out like it was hot when it really isn't. Hope this is all your problem
