Neil Reitmeyer has wiring diagrams on his neat N-web site.

Click here to check em out!

You can get a lot of opinions on 9N's vs. 8N's by checking the archives here on YT. To learn about how to identify the various models and years, and learn a lot about the differences, you can visit John Smith's excellent N-web site

by clicking here!

Hope this helps..... ..... .....Ed

check out this info posted by MO yesterday

While browsing, came across this diagram. I have had my share of trying to figure these things out, and am still having them. But this one is very well illustrated and seems so simple that even I might be able to make it work. I hope that it might help somebody else out, too.
