Does anybody know what the 3 Point Lift capacity is on the old Ford 8N tractors?

I was at the Henry Ford museum South of Detroit a few weeks ago. They have a 8N and the first 'prototype' 9N (whick looks little litle the production 9N). In reading over some information, the full lift capacity wasn't stated, but it was noted that an 'acceptable' condition N lift should lift at least 750 lbs (when evaluation used lift condition).

Rich..... ..some where in the long lost webs of memory, the number 900 lbs come to mind but it depends upon a lot of things, like lever arm, center of gravity, condition of hydraulic system, frontend weight I think was the limiting factor, wheelies time..... .Dell

Dell, thanks for the information. I am currently lifting a 72" very heavy duty hog and the 8N makes a lot of noise when the hog's back tire comes off of the ground. It is time to replace the 8N. (No wheelies for me, the 8N has a loader and I have never seen the front wheels leave the ground.)
