There she sits, 8N #515088, 48 years young, rested, and ready for me to start bolting on sheet metal.

She's perfect in every way (those oil drips are from my Jeep) - rebuilt, redone, renovated, and pushing 50 lbs. oil pressure. By this time next week, she'll shine like a diamond in a goat's . . . Well, I'll post another picture when I'm done.

Sam. That's enough to make me cry. I only have the one 9N. I'm not like Elwood. I'd like to get another, and do just as you have done. This old gal is working every week. So now is not a good time to tear it down. Don't believe in doing a half____ job on the thing. So I'll wait til early winter. Looking at your picture makes me want to do it now though. We will be waiting for the next pictures. Dale in VA.

As my son would say "sweet".

I drool everytime I see one in this stage and look at my poor 9N painted like an 8N (I think when it grows up it wants to be an 8N) which is how I bought it, but the grass grows and the snow falls, and I don't seem to have the time to redo it.

My hats off to those of you who have---whether it be restored, repainted, or refurbished, or whatever.

JU

Time? We all get 24 hours each day. When people say they do not have time to do something they really mean that it is not on their priority list of things to do. We all have time to do the things that we want to do.(Or in a lot of cases what the XYL wants us to do.)My tractor is allways on my priority list except when it is a 100 Deg outside.
Happy Motoring

Maybe you should get a spare or two like Elwood and then you could correct those color "flaws":-)

Looking good Sam!
