I have a 50 8N. There is a large verticle pin
below the PTO. I think it is the drawbar pivot
point. How to you remove the pin? I want to
hook a chain around it. It has a head, of sorts, on the bottom but I haven't been able to turn it.
Does the pin screw into the bottom of the tractor?
If so, are the threads normal right handed threads?

No threads in there Rtex. There is supposed to be a spring inside that housing. You push up from the bottom on the pin and rotate it to remove. If your pin isn't moving, its probaly rusted or packed with dirt.
