Thanks to Zane! and THANK YOU TO THE N-BOARD FOR YOUR HEARTFELT GOOD TIDINGS. There are some things in life that a person is lucky to stumble into, and in my case there are more things in life that I step into. But this N-Board has been one of the few, and one of the nicest places to stumble upon and meet wonderful folk from around the country. I have been very lucky to work with all of you on a common interest. THANKS. 9N'er and the Whimpster. p.s And, of course I have some questions (Tyman!) like, why is my 9N dead, won't start, and I have no spark to the plugs. Oh no, here I go again. Welcome home!

9Ner, Welcome home!!! Hey, that's one Very nice looking 9N you have there. I'm shocked that you left it to go west, but understand. Time to play now??? Glad you are safe and sound. There is another fire down by Thermopolis, Wy. If you get sent back out here to fight it, let me know. Maybe we can meet somewhere?? I'm about 60 miles North of Thermopolis.
Dave

9N'er, I am working with a "Save the Sea and Build Artificial Reefs Foundation." Your 9N is way to good for this, but if you ever find that you want to throw a tractor into a river, well, I can be here for support. As for me, I'm taking up scuba diving, and underwater tractor driving. I've had it with my 8N. Now, where did a put my air tanks and regulator? I have my flippers on and mask, but my tanks are missing! Welcome home bud. cg

cg, don't know where you are located, but the Navy has been selling moth-balled WWI and WWII vintage ships to the state of NC to use in their artificial reef program. They make GREAT artificial reefs. I do a lot of wreck diving off the coast of NC. I dove a cable layer right after they sunk it. It looked pristine, just sitting there on the bottom. A couple of years later, and it was getting nicely covered with corals and sponges and a lot of critters had been attracted to the structure. What are you guys using for your reef building program?

Regards..... ..... Ed

I want to use my 8N. i'm about ready to throw into the Mississippi and watch it float belly up and bloated into the Gulf of Mexico; then in a couple years tune on Public TV and see Jaques Cousteau shows slinkering around in the mud and coming upon old cg's 8N serving as valuable habitat for the spiderwort-bluespined-hogfish.

Hey, at least that'll be more interesting than the oil rig platforms that some of my buddies dive on down your way.

LOL..... ..Ed
