I have a print of this painting. The Ford is no problem to identify, but I have no idea what the other one is, and of course, people keep asking. Can anybody help with an id??

Thanx - Paul

The artist is fairly close to you - I bought over the phone. Here is her web site - go to the print
list. This is the last one listed - Reminiscing.
Don't get sticker shock - prices are in Canadian $$. Marg is a treat to talk to and the two gents
pictured (painted)were friends.

David Brown. Made in England. This one is probably a late 1960s or early 1970s. When Ford took over the distributorship of their tractors and machinery from independent distributorships (when 3-cylinders replaced 4-cylinders), I remember that the Ozark Distributors in Springfield, Misouri, began to distribute David Browns to replace the Fords. Then Case bought out DB and such distributors were again out of luck.

It looks like a David Brown.

I was gonna say the same thing but held off because I'm barely conversant on Ford tractors and am a REAL neophyte when it comes to other brands. But, it does remind me of a big David Brown I looked at when I was shopping for a tractor last year.
