I've been tearing down my 2n after a posthole digging mishap broke my ram arm.I can't seem to remove my pto shaft.I got it out about 1 and a quarter inch and it's locked up solid. It seems loose except where it goes through the hydraulic pump. The splines are nice and shiny with no distortions in sight. Any ideas?

YEP HAD THE SAME PROB WITH MINE WHEN REPLACING THE PTO SEAL AND BEARING. JUST GOTTA PULL IT ON OUT AND DO THE WORK, THEN GOTTA FORCE IT BACK THRU WHEN GOIN IN. BE CAREFUL NOT TO KNOCK THE LIFT VALVE ACTIVATING ARMS OFF WHEN REINSTALLING, I DID, GOT BLADE ALL LIFTED UP AND COULDNT SET IT DOWN.OH YEAH , HAD TO USE HARD PLASTIC DEAD BLOW HAMMER TO TAP IT ALL THE WAY BACK IN TOO
