Well I finally figured out the problem. after trying what i thought was everything for test and etc. I was out tonight with my neighbor bicthing about the problem with the tractor and he started it up being dark out we could see that the coil was starting to arc afterit warmed up. well go figure a new coil that was bad. turns out that the thing had a tiny crack that after heating up would expand enough to cause it to not work on re start. put the old coil back in and it works just fine. I can run the thing turn it off and it starts right back up. moral of the story save the old parts.

Glad to hear it, I was about ready to send you down an extra coil I have just as a freebie. Hey, are you going to Dublin this weekend? I cannot locate a trailer. Well, the real scoop is: I borrowed one from a new found friend several weekends ago, and I just don't want to get in the habit of borrowing it from him. So, I won't ask again. But I will be in Dublin checking out the tractors. I have to do double duty and pick up a couple hunred board feet of white ash too. 9N'er p.s. where's the fair, and how do I get there? e-mail me if you're going! thanks.
