9N'er, diaeletric grease is an insulator, NOT what you want. Rod, I use the grease that is REQUIRED for aluminum wiring connections. It is a conductive grease. You can get it at any electrical supply house, OR any hardware/lumber store that sells aluminum wire. If they don't have it then they SHOULD NOT be selling aluminum wire. ALL codes require that you coat the wire before you put it into the clamps in a panel board. I have not tried it on spark plug wires but it should work OK. CAUTION, keep the grease just in the bottom of the cap pockets. Remember this is a conductive grease and you do not want it to provide a path to ground - that will KILL the sparkies at the plugs. I have used it in a lot of other applications. Such as, the trailer plug on my car, a place where you get a lot of moisture. Seems to do quite well in keeping corrosion out and providing a good connection. This is the thing I'd suggest for all the connections on a 6V system. JUST remember that you need to keep it only at the connection points - don't smear it all over, then you can start to short things out, unintentionally. Your mileage may vary, :-) HTH Larry
