A "for sale" Ford tractor appeared parked in front of a farmhouse here in Ozark, Mo. a couple of days ago. I thought I would look at it, and maybe even take a couple of pictures with my new digital camera to post here in case someone is interested.I stopped, but didn't find out much. No one was home, but I got to meet the owner's pit bull AND his malamute right away. That made it hard to pay much attention to looking at the tractor. Anyway, the sign says "$2100.", it has the BIG axle hubs front and back (as compared to those on my 8N), and it has a serial # of 9N 231XXX. That should make it a 1947 2N, I think. Thick red-and-gray brush paint job, homemade running boards, pretty good rubber and sheet metal. I'm just posting this for whatever it's worth. If anyone here has any interest, let me know. I drive by this place every day, so I could stop when the guy is home and get some info and a couple of pictures.
